Rabea Store deducts fees from refund for an undelivered, cancelled order
Complaint Details
The complainant is filing a complaint against Rabea Store regarding a refund dispute for an order that was cancelled due to delivery issues. The complainant states that the product was never delivered, yet the store intends to deduct fees from the refund.
According to the complainant, a purchase was made from Rabea Store on February 27, 2026, for the amount of 103.12 SAR. Between March 30 and April 6, 2026, the complainant experienced delivery problems, reporting that the delivery agent informed them of their inability to deliver the package. After notifying the store and escalating the issue without resolution, the complainant decided to cancel the order. The complainant claims that Rabea Store informed them that a 7% operating fee and shipping costs would be deducted from the refund, despite the cancellation being due to the failure of the store's contracted delivery company.
The complainant asserts they are not responsible for the logistical issues between the store and its delivery partner and considers the deductions unjustified. This situation has caused the complainant financial damage, loss of time, and emotional distress. Therefore, the complainant seeks a full refund of the amount paid without any deductions, accountability from the responsible party for the poor service, an official apology, and financial compensation.
