Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health is the government body responsible for the healthcare sector in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Officially established on December 14, 1950, its headquarters are located in Amman. The ministry works to maintain public health by providing preventive, treatment, and health control services. Its primary functions include organizing and supervising health services offered by both the public and private sectors, providing health insurance to the public within available resources, and establishing and managing health educational and training institutes.
